COLUMBIA, S.C. (PRWEB) April 04, 2018
A city wide scavenger hunt adventure is coming to Columbia, SC on April 14 as locally owned escape room, Escape Plan Columbia, and 104.7 WNOK have teamed up to produce Soda City Escape: A Pirate Experience. Over $7,000 of prizes will be awarded to the winning teams as they race around the city to take part in this community event.
“We are extremely excited to announce a fun event for our entire community with a city wide scavenger hunt: Soda City Escape,” said Josh Brickey, Owner of Escape Plan Columbia. “It will a mix between escape rooms and a scavenger hunt.”
Soda City Escape: A Pirate Adventure will start at 1pm at Tin Roof Columbia as preregistered teams of 2-6 people will receive a series of puzzles, clues, and tasks that they must perform throughout the city. During the three hour event, the teams will compete to find all the pirate treasure for a chance to win over $7,000 in prizes (and have tons of fun in the process). Prizes will also be awarded to the team with the best pirate costume and to the team with the best team name. The cost is $10 per person if you register by April 7, and the cost will rise to $20 per person after.
“I’m looking forward to this day! It’s going to be a lot of fun,” said Jonathan Reed, WNOK Program Director.
“We take a lot of pride in providing entertaining events for families, friends, and businesses. This interactive event will take us outside the walls of our escape room and let friends and family have some fun together around the city of Columbia!” said Brickey.
