Meadowbrook to include 282 residential lots on 145 acres

Blake Communities broke ground this week on Meadowbrook, a new 282-lot community off NC 55, featuring new residential construction by Level Homes and Chesapeake Homes. The new development continues the recent growth in Fuquay-Varina — a growing commuter town serving the greater Raleigh-Durham market.

The master plan for the community includes 282 residential lots set on 145 acres. The community will feature 45 acres of open space and a variety of amenities including a clubhouse, community pool and walking trails.

“This property was an ideal location for both builders,” said Brent Shearer, President of Blake Communities. “So, rather than put all of the market pressure on one builder and limit buyer choice, we structured the deal to provide a great opportunity to both parties.”
The partnership is designed to allow each builder a distinct market segment while combining their efforts on the shared components of the community.

The developer expects first homesites delivered to builders in Fall 2018 with initial builder sales in Winter 2018.
