Seattle-based private equity group bolsters sales and marketing; Invests sizably into partner winery

Ackley Beverage Group, a family investment company that brings financial capital and professional resources to partners in the Northwest wine industry, is poised for momentous growth after reaching several key milestones in 2017 including bolstering its sales team and adding production capacity to its largest partner, Montinore Estate.

Last year, Ackley Beverage Group committed significant resources to enhance their infrastructure to provide greater support for their partners. The company doubled the size of their sales team, including the recruitment of an accomplished sales and marketing director and a West coast regional sales manager. In addition to sales and marketing, the company also purchased industry leading technology for vineyard, production and customer management to stay on the forefront of best practices.

Ackley Beverage Group also substantially invested in its largest partner Montinore Estate - the largest estate producer of wines made from Biodynamic® grapes in the country. With these investments, Montinore Estate was able to increase production capacity by over 40% to meet the growing demand for its wines. It also advanced its marketing strategy and brought in new key hires in viticulture and winemaking. Montinore Estate increased its revenue by over 25% during the last two years through its partnership with Ackley Beverage Group.
