Presales of LooLoo are now more than triple the original campaign goal as the world’s first automatic toilet freshener -- attracting more than $30,000 from backers on Kickstarter.

Crowdfunders in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are leading the surge in sales for LooLoo, a device that combines innovative technology with a slick, clean design to directly address the source of the smell issue on the inside of the toilet.

Using infrared technology to sense the heat of the body as a user sits down, LooLoo sprays its thin film of proprietary essential oils on the water inside the toilet. The fragrance blend not only traps the odor under the water, but also counteracts the odor by absorbing all smelly nitrate molecules – and accomplishes all these things before the user does their business and without the user having to do a thing.

“With LooLoo, no one ever has to touch an air freshener again…which really does no good since it only mixes the foul odors,” Wood said. “Instead, LooLoo works its magic before the smell ever reaches your nostrils – and leaves the bathroom smelling better than when the person arrived to take care of their business.”
