LooLoo is the first automated solution that addresses the most common complaint people have with their bathroom…the smell after someone uses the toilet.

Presales of LooLoo are now more than triple the original campaign goal as the world’s first automatic toilet freshener -- attracting more than $30,000 from backers on Kickstarter.

“We’re excited to triple our goal so early in our campaign and really appreciate the support from our backers on Kickstarter,” said LooLoo Co-founder and inventor Taylor Wood. “LooLoo is the first automated solution that addresses the most common complaint people have with their bathroom…the smell after someone uses the toilet.”

Crowdfunders in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are leading the surge in sales for LooLoo, a device that combines innovative technology with a slick, clean design to directly address the source of the smell issue on the inside of the toilet.

Using infrared technology to sense the heat of the body as a user sits down, LooLoo sprays its thin film of proprietary essential oils on the water inside the toilet. The fragrance blend not only traps the odor under the water, but also counteracts the odor by absorbing all smelly nitrate molecules – and accomplishes all these things before the user does their business and without the user having to do a thing.

“With LooLoo, no one ever has to touch an air freshener again…which really does no good since it only mixes the foul odors,” Wood said. “Instead, LooLoo works its magic before the smell ever reaches your nostrils – and leaves the bathroom smelling better than when the person arrived to take care of their business.”

LooLoo also comes equipped with LED lights that softly illuminate the toilet bowl – and with nine colors to choose from – eliminating turning on a blinding light in the middle of the night when nature calls.

Digital Trend Writer Trevor Moog observed that “there are few things worse than walking into your bathroom only to be hit with an odor so offensive that you suspect it may contravene a Hague Convention or at the very least break a state law pertaining to antisocial behavior.”

The inventor of the LooLoo agrees.

“Our success on Kickstarter shows that consumers are ready for an alternative to standard fresheners and pre-poo sprays in the bathroom. LooLoo is the only tech-savvy way available on the market today to keep it smelling great easily and automatically,” Wood said.
