With Obesity Among Christians on the Rise, Author CarolAnn Uses the Bible to Aide Exercise and Nutrition

A 2006 Purdue study found that fundamental Christians are by far the heaviest of all religious groups, led by the Baptists with a 30% obesity rate, compared with Jews at 1%, and with Buddhists and Hindus at 0.7%.

With obesity on the rise among Christians, one woman is working to help stave off Christian obesity while making the message of exercise relatable to something all Christians know well: the Bible.

In her new book, “Chiseled Faith: Your Motivational and Survival Bible to Achieving Your Greatest Health and Fitness Potential” CarolAnn, M.S., uses fitness principles backed by science combined with faith based principles backed by scripture.
