Kelsey Anastasia Norris and Carol Norris’s Newly Released “I Want to Make a Difference” is a Gripping Book on a Mother and Her Adopted Child’s Faith and Determination.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) April 12, 2018 -- “I Want to Make a Difference”: an awe-inspiring book that contains biblical insights and focuses on many great facets of God. “I Want to Make a Difference” is the creation of published authors, Kelsey Anastasia Norris, a nationally recognized thirteen-year-old advocate, community volunteer, beauty queen, author, and athlete, and Carol Norris, her devoted and loving mother.
When Kelsey was fourteen months old, the adoption became final, and her new mom was able to bring her home to Georgia. Kelsey soon started eating regularly and receiving medical care from a pediatrician. She began to grow and gain weight. She lived in a beautiful house full of love, hugs, toys, and dolls. When she was two, she started gymnastics class, and everyone soon realized that Kelsey had a talent for tumbling and standing on her head. When she was three, she started dance classes and loved moving to the music. She learned to swim when she was five and joined a local swim team. Kelsey’s mother also taught her how to pray. Every night, Kelsey thanked God for her blessings and prayed for people including her aunts and uncle and their families who lived in other states. Her mother also started teaching her about giving to others. Kelsey and her mother saved part of her allowance money each year to send $100 to each of her four cousins on their birthdays for their college fund so someday they could go to college and pursue their dreams. Kelsey also started volunteering in the community and raising money for various charities. By the time she was in sixth grade, she had volunteered for over 1,000 community service hours and raised more than $25,000 for a wide variety of causes aiding children and others in difficult situations.
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Kelsey Anastasia Norris and Carol Norris’s new book is an enthralling and touching work about a mother and a child who may not be biologically related to each other but has still proved that through true love and care, the real essence of family is achieved.
Kelsey’s life and achievements have also been published by various autism advocacy organizations and forms of print media. She is a living proof that disabilities are not a hindrance to reaching one’s great potential.
