CHERRY HILL, N.J. (PRWEB) April 23, 2018
Bill Bliem, Senior Vice President of Fleet Services at NFI, will speak at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, taking place April 30 to May 3, 2018 in Long Beach, Calif. The panel session on May 3, titled “Critical Considerations When Navigating an Increasing Diverse Product Portfolio,” will explore things to consider when evaluating advanced ultra-clean heavy-duty products available in today’s marketplace.
During this panel, Bliem and other leading fleet operators will discuss how they have made initial investments, and how they are balancing aggressive early-state technology investments with both their current operations and a longer-term view of the future. Beyond the initial investment, key considerations such as multiple fueling infrastructures, personnel training, infrastructure upgrades and facility modifications, and other factors will also be explored.
“The past year was an exciting time for new sustainable product and service announcements, and there seems to be no shortage of innovation in the future,” said Bliem. “Now, it’s more important than ever to closely examine implications before making long-term investments in this rapidly developing market. Social responsibility is a core value at NFI, and we strive to reduce environmental impact while focusing on our clients’ sustainability efforts.”
Today, NFI operates more than 4,000 tractors and 8,900 trailers across its dedicated and drayage fleets.
