Today, at the NAB show in Las Vegas, Empress Media Asset Management, LLC (Empress), developers of the widely used eMAM™ media asset management platform, announce an integration with the speech analytics API platform, VoiceBase. Together eMAM and VoiceBase will provide a powerful tool for customers to increase the value of large archives of audio and video content by making their recordings instantly searchable, easily navigated, and automatically categorized through rich keyword and topic extraction.

Through this integration eMAM users will utilize VoiceBase’s industry leading speech-to-text capabilities to surface intelligence from recordings which were previously inaccessible or very costly and time-consuming to manually transcribe. “Large archives of audio and video content are often the most valuable and data-rich sources for enterprises, but have traditionally been difficult to harness and access,” said Jay Blazensky, CRO & Co-founder of VoiceBase. “We are excited to work with Empress Media Asset Management to deliver powerful tools to address this pain point customers are feeling.”

Although it all starts with fast and accurate transcription, the ability to translate the transcript into functionality that users see is what makes this solution unique. Functions are optimized for the particular need of each customer: video captioning, display of search results, topics generated, keyword summaries, and language translations.

Empress Media Asses Management is committed to continuously finding and integrating with best-in-breed solutions like VoiceBase, to provide completely integrated media workflows and rich collaboration tools for all customers-from small workgroups to large enterprises. Intelligent and instant search on large files is a key challenge for which this combined solution will provide customers with an immediate benefit.

David Miller, COO of Empress, commented, “We are excited to offer VoiceBase’s unique technology to help customers leverage the value of their untagged or poorly tagged archives to easily search and repurpose hundreds of thousands of hours of content.”

eMAM is available from Empress at http://www.empressmam.com. Visitors to NAB 2018 can see eMAM in action with the VoiceBase integration at booth SL9024, April 9th to the 12th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall.
