New Memoir Shares Author’s Difficult Past, Journey to Self-Realization as an Adult
MANCHESTER, N.H. (PRWEB) April 09, 2018 -- Hope-Anne Christie debut memoir, “The Unintended Journey of a Soul: Stay True to Yourself and All Else Follows” (published by Balboa Press), shares the story of the author’s troubled childhood and her journey to self-realization as an adult, detailing abuses she experienced and the strength that kept her going.
Christie shares how she went from the darkest of places spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically, to “heights unimaginable.” Her personal journey involved deep healing of old wounds, some of which, she says kept showing up in a variety of ways throughout her life. Christie describes in detail how emotional trauma follows one into adulthood, from where they originated, such as in a childhood trauma. She says injuries accumulated over a lifetime, eventually affect one emotionally. Throughout the book, she emphasizes the importance of recognizing the exact emotional issues that are stored in a person’s body and the importance of healing through forgiveness of self and others.
“There are many people in our society looking for a purpose to fulfill, but are unable to find it,” Christie explains. “They are suffering emotionally, and some physically from a variety of symptoms. This book talks to those in search of answers, about how to heal, and that it is possible to find their life purpose.”
