Meller Optics' New IR and Broadband Optics are Ideal for Detector Windows & Viewports
PROVIDENCE, RI (PRWEB) April 11, 2018 -- Meller Optics, Inc. has introduced a broad range of IR and broadband optics that can be custom fabricated to meet precise military, commercial, and research application requirements.
Meller IR and Broadband Optics can be produced as detector windows, filter substrates, front surface optics, viewports and related applications with or without A/R coatings for transmitting at wavelengths out to 20 microns. Custom fabricated from calcium fluoride, magnesium fluoride, germanium, silicon, zinc selenide, and zinc sulfide, they conform to MIL-PRF-13830.
Supplied as windows, lenses, and mirrors in plano-concave, concave, and meniscus shapes, and as prisms, Meller IR and Broadband Optics can include steps, holes, and other features. Available in sizes from 0.25” to 4” O.D. or diagonal with ±0.005” tolerance and thickness to ±0.002”, they are offered in prototype through production quantities.
