Altopa, Inc. is pleased to confirm today that its Board of Directors has appointed Nicole Wicker as its Chief Executive Officer to lead the commercialization of the Oblend, a patented countertop device that enables consumers to access, personalize, and create a wide range of plant-based health and wellness products, including and especially cannabinoids.
Ms. Wicker is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of working with high-growth healthcare and technology companies. She brings a unique mix of leadership, operational experience, technical knowledge, and passion for the customer. Ms. Wicker has provided executive leadership to a number of early and growth-stage technology companies. Under her leadership as CFO and interim CEO, medical device company, TearScience, was recognized as the fastest growing company in North Carolina and acquired by Johnson & Johnson.

Ms. Wicker, a healthcare veteran, has served as Altopa’s Chief Financial Officer since co-founding the Company in March of 2016 with Matt Wilson, Altopa’s prior CEO. Mr. Wilson will remain actively involved in the leadership of the Company as its Chief Experience Officer with a critical focus on customer evangelism, partner experience, and product strategy & vision. The Company has commenced a search for a Financial Controller.
