Each year under the direction of Coach Parra campers consistently strive to reach their highest potential.

Camp director Doug Parra will lead the charge again as he has done for over 36 years. A prodigy of Hubert Vogelsinger himself, Parra spent nearly 25 years coaching and educating young soccer players with Hubert. Campers train on the grassy athletic fields overlooking the waters of the pacific ocean in sunny Southern California.

Parra has spent time playing and coaching in Spain, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. His international experience brings a unique perspective to campers and exposes them to a new style of play. “The Vogelsinger Soccer Academy at UCSB is a program designed for serious soccer players who want to enhance their soccer skills”, says VP of Nike Soccer Camps Renee Chapman. “Each year under the direction of Coach Parra campers consistently strive to reach their highest potential. The skills and life lessons they learn are unparalleled. We have soccer players from across the globe that choose to attend the Academy at UCSB.”

The Nike Vogelsinger Soccer Academy at UCSB is coed. The All Star week long training sessions are offered June 17th-22nd, June 24th-29th, and July 1st-6th.
