LaundryCares Free Laundry Day in Philadelphia, PA, June 19, 2018
PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- On Tuesday, June 19, 2018, The Laundry Café located at 400 W. Allegheny Avenue will host Philadelphia’s first LaundryCares event and provide a DAY OF FREE LAUNDRY from 10AM – 4PM. Millions of families in underserved communities visit laundromats each week to fulfill the basic need of having clean clothes. For many of these families, fulfilling this basic need can often be a challenge. With that in mind, The Laundry Café, in conjunction with the LaundryCares Foundation is excited and honored to offer a day of free laundry services for people in the neighborhood. Guests can bring an unlimited amount of laundry to the event and will receive free laundry products to help clean their clothes. While the guests do their laundry, children will be safely entertained with several supervised activities including music, reading, face painting and more.
“The Laundry Café is the perfect host location for such a meaningful, and charitable event. The owners of The Laundry Café have consistently conducted community based, educational programs for the neighborhoods they serve. They have also revolutionized the image of laundromats by developing large, beautifully appointed stores that integrate innovative offerings such as homework stations for their patrons.” - Brian Wallace, CEO of LaundryCares Foundation
