BROS. On The Rocks (2018) An independent micro budget film produced and set in Waterloo, Iowa and Cedar Falls, Iowa will be released to theaters throughout the country on May 2nd, 2018.
BROS. On The Rocks (2018) was made with a budget of only $5,000 when most low budget independent films are produced for $750,000.
"It is a huge challenge to complete a feature film on such a small amount. but if you have the right crew, and the right attitude. You will be amazed by what is possible."
Don Tjernagel/Producer & Director
This is the second feature film produced by Tjernagel, and his very eager crew in the span of one short year. Tjernagel had also planned on producing a third comedy film in the early winter of 2019. He has been unable to find enough actors and actresses along with extra crew in the cedar valley Iowa area to complete the larger production that had been planned. He hopes to secure a new location, or find the needed personnel to complete the new production in 2019.
"I was very impressed with the actors that joined us on this movie. This one was difficult to make. We had 10 actors no call and no show on us. We were thrilled with the actors and actresses that did do this new one with us though.
There has been a lot of interest from different production groups on these movies. We were surprised that they liked these, but we are honored by the phone calls that we received."
