“Jake” is the creation of published author, Rene Oram. Rene is a true Montana native. She has made her home in Dillon for almost eighteen years. Rene was raised in Anaconda, Montana and graduated from Anaconda Senior High in 1984. Rene has one daughter, Paige, and one granddaughter, Marissa. Rene met her husband, Thomas Oram Jr, in 2006 and married him in 2009. Rene’s hobbies are knitting, quilting, and painting, specifically acrylic wood paintings of wildlife. She and Tom have five horses and one cat, Lionell.
