RMI Expeditions Awarded Guiding Contract from Denali National Park & Preserve
ASHFORD, Wash. (PRWEB) April 24, 2018 -- RMI Expeditions (RMI) announced today that it has been awarded a new 10-year contract for guiding climbers within Denali National Park and Preserve. After a rigorous selection process, RMI’s proposal received the highest score and the National Park Service determined RMI to be the Best Offeror.
In 1975, RMI guided its first expedition on Denali (then known as Mt. McKinley). The awarding of the 2019 Denali contract will mark the 44th year of continuous operations and guiding in the Alaska Range.
“We are honored and excited to be selected as the Best Offeror of the 2019 contract proposals. Denali National Park and Preserve is an amazing place and we are thrilled to continue sharing its wilderness, beauty, and history with our climbers for the next decade,” said Peter Whittaker, guide and owner of RMI Expeditions.
