Theatre Exhibitors Driving Revenue Results with Allure & SurveyMe Research Partnership

Theatre operators are learning more about their customers' behaviors, preferences, and purchase patterns via data analytics and instantaneous qualitative research through the Allure and SurveyMe Cinema Research Partnership which will be announced at CinemaCon on April 24, 2018.

Allure, A Christie Company, has announced its partnership with mobile feedback app provider, SurveyMe this week. Atlanta-based Allure, a leading digital signage, content, and analytics firm, has co-developed a thorough theatre research product with Newport Beach-based SurveyMe, which was the first to market with a distinctive mobile feedback app used by numerous theatre operators.

The new product jointly developed by the two firms, gracefully combines findings from Allure’s deep quantitative data analysis and SurveyMe’s distinctive qualitative mobile survey feedback. Prior to the release of this new product, Allure has been able to show the “when, where, and what” of theatre environment purchases, but with the SurveyMe component, theatre owners will now be able to append the information with the “who and why.”

Allure brings to bear years of experience mining ticketing, concessions, and Point of Sale transaction data to determine purchase behavior in entertainment and retail environments. This information has allowed theatre operators to test Allure-developed digital content and offers to determine which content is more compelling and drives greater revenue and margins. At the same time, SurveyMe has encouraged guests to download the free SurveyMe mobile app, answer a few short questions and earn instant rewards. Theatre operators not only drove increased product sales through the use of the tool, but instantly learned more about their guests’ experience, and garnered immediate feedback.
