DENVER (PRWEB) April 23, 2018
Donor Alliance, the federally designated non-profit organization that facilitates organ and tissue donation in Colorado and most of Wyoming, has been recognized as a 2018 Top Workplace by The Denver Post for the fifth consecutive year. The organization ranked 25th on the list of top small companies and boasted a 96% response rate from its staff with no participation incentives.
The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by Energage, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution and Connection, just to name a few.
“It is an honor to be ranked among the top workplaces in Colorado for a fifth year, a recognition that comes during one of our busiest times of year and serves as the perfect reminder of why we come to work every day,” said Sue Dunn, president and CEO of Donor Alliance. “April is National Donate Life Month and our employees are hard at work raising awareness for the cause in communities throughout Colorado. As the heart and soul of our organization, our employees are essential in achieving our mission to save lives through organ and tissue donation and transplantation.”
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “It’s an achievement organizations have to work for.”
A recognized leader in organ and tissue donation and recovery, Donor Alliance fosters a mission-driven culture through its core values: Integrity, Leadership, Excellence, Accountability and People First. In addition to traditional employee benefits like wellness programs, tuition and health club reimbursement and a charitable contribution program, the organization offers employees something much more extraordinary: the opportunity to help save lives every day.
In addition to achieving Top Workplace status for the last five consecutive years, Donor Alliance won Quantum’s Employee Voice Award, honoring organizations for outstanding work in employee engagement, in 2017, as well as the Denver Business Journal’s Best Places to Work. The organization also earned Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence (RMPEx) highest level of recognition, the Peak Performance Award, in 2015.
