“Have you ever wondered what you would do if something terrible happened and you had to start again? All over again.” In “The Terrible Tuesday” (published by Balboa Press), Alana Corry shares a personal story of her journey from a “really awful day” and the effect that one day had on her life as a whole. The book is a story of recovery from severe post-traumatic stress disorder, from rock bottom to a life filled with hope.

In detail, the book is a memoir of one woman’s sexual assault and her long road to recovery. This brutally honest, conversational book addresses what it is like to experience such a traumatic event and how one carries on in the days, weeks and years that follow. A nuanced story about moving past the unthinkable.

A book review from states:
A well written account of a young woman’s experience of being brutally attacked in her own home, her journey to recovery which included her courage and resilience in securing a successful prosecution in court. A journey which has seen her move from helpless victim, through survivor to an empowered person who is thriving and embracing all that life has to offer. A must read for those struggling to connect fully with life.
