Workforce® Ranks World's Top 100 Companies for HR
CHICAGO (PRWEB) April 30, 2018 -- Workforce magazine, a leading source of news and analysis published by Human Capital Media (HCM), has just released a list of the world's best companies for HR. Now in its fifth year, the prestigious Workforce 100 ranking uses research to identify global enterprises that directly connect effective people management practices with successful business strategy.
To accomplish this objective, the magazine's editors work closely with the Human Capital Media Research and Advisory Group, the magazine's research arm, to weigh and analyze publically available company information, as well as benchmarking and ranking data and employee-generated assessments. Seven core areas of HR performance are evaluated to compile the list: workplace culture, employee benefits, diversity and inclusion, HR innovation, workforce development, leadership development and talent acquisition.
For 2018, Salesforce.com, the cloud-based customer relationship management platform, came out on top. Delta Air Lines and Bain & Co., a management-consulting firm, took the second and third spots, respectively, followed by Ultimate Software and Facebook.
"A high performing HR function is hard to measure," said Sarah Kimmel, HCM's director of research and advisory services. "By applying more objective analysis of HR's impact on the enterprise, Workforce hopes to promote greater understanding of this critical function as well as provide insight and concrete examples of how companies can elevate its practice and improve its ability to help drive business."
