Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance is Awarded NAAMTA Accreditation
HILLSBORO, Ore. (PRWEB) April 25, 2018 -- NAAMTA’s Accreditation program is built on standards that focus on quality patient care and transport safety. Using a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices, and facilities, NAAMTA is awarding Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance accreditation for their medical transport program.
Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance demonstrates compliance to each of the defined standards, excels in identifying best practice procedures, and instills these values in their employees. NAAMTA verified compliance through employee interviews, process reviews, and on-site evaluations, all of which were conducted using ISO 9001:2015 auditing guidelines.
Ron Levesque, Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance General Manager, commented on NAAMTA’s accreditation processes stating, “we appreciated the professionalism of the auditors, their thoroughness and the attention to detail. We used the application process as an opportunity to perform a self-assessment to verify our quality and safety systems and determine the alignment of our operations and how they fulfil the measurement of compliance to the NAAMTA Standards.”
Mr. Levesque continued to say that “as the accreditation process began, we readily identified NAAMTA’s strong suit is that NAAMTA’s employee/auditors, know their business, the importance of having high-quality standards and verifying compliance to these standards. Unmatched by other accreditation organizations, their streamlined accreditation process approach, provided us the confirmation of quality and safety within our policies and identified opportunities for improvements.”
Lisa Gee, a member of the NAAMTA auditing team said, “One of the things that I noticed about Lifeguard Air Ambulance is their emphasis on training. I was especially impressed with the over water emergency training that was completed a local pool to ensure that flight crews were equipped to handle over water emergencies. This dedication to detail is exemplar and demonstrates an emphasis on safety.”
In addition to the accreditation award, Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance joins the NAAMTA Alliance. This alliance unifies accredited organizations in the promotion of continuous improvement in safety and patient care. Continuous improvement is the result of shared education, experience and quality management principles by Alliance members. NAAMTA salutes Premier Jets-Lifeguard Air Ambulance for their proactive approach in achieving accreditation and looks forward to the contributions they will share with the NAAMTA Alliance.
