New mover marketing business increases franchise offering and unit-level growth with launch of Engage platform

As technology continues to play a bigger role in business, Welcomemat Services, the Atlanta-based new mover marketing franchise is emphasizing upgrades to its award winning new mover program and the launch of four new data-driven revenue streams. Marking a year since the launch of Welcomemat Engage, a new advanced technology product line that was introduced to revolutionize each franchisee’s offerings to his or her clients, the Welcomemat franchise system joined together at the annual conference in late February to celebrate the continued success of the brand. Strong growth with the Welcomemat new mover program and the addition of products in email, social, and data-driven postcards helped the brand increase year-over-year revenues by close to 15 percent. Welcomemat also used this time to reflect on the incredible growth projected for 2018, with plans to open 14 new franchise locations, including expansion into entirely new markets like Arizona, Iowa and Oregon.

Since launching the Engage platform, nearly 10 percent of the entire Welcomemat Services client base is now using at least one of the additional offerings introduced through the new platform, and the program has allowed for an increased number of local businesses to access the powerful data-driven solutions at a cost that is reasonable for their specific business. In Murfreesboro, Tennessee a Welcomemat carwash client began utilizing the Perfect Match Postcard offering to increase its brands reach and build a stronger in-store customer count. Since utilizing the new program, the car wash chain has seen an 8 percent redemption rate from the total 10,000 mailers, which is 800 percent above the direct mail average response rate of 1 percent. A community health center and urgent care client in Bonita Springs, Florida launched the social media offering from the new Engage platform. The client has since increased their monthly engagement from 32 to 909 on page actions, as well as built their monthly reach from 1,800 people to 3,135 people, in just four months.
