Adolfson & Peterson Construction Awarded Garland Independent School District Bid Package 3.3

Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) recently began a multi-campus addition and renovation project as part of Garland Independent School District’s Bid Package 3.3. The package includes the addition and renovation of Luna Elementary School, Abbett Elementary School and Hudson Middle School.

“AP has been working with Garland ISD for the past two years on renovation projects for both Naaman Forest High School and Garland High School,” said Corbett Nichter, Regional President, AP.

Designed by Page, the project consists of updates to the fine arts areas, replacement of mechanical systems, HVAC improvements, replacement of electrical and fire suppression systems throughout, renovation of existing restrooms, replacement of doors/hardware for ADA compliance, the creation of a secure vestibule, security upgrades, roof repair, flooring replacement, new labs, updating paint in select areas and new admin offices. Jacobs is serving as Program Manager.

“AP has been working with Garland ISD for the past two years on renovation projects for both Naaman Forest High School and Garland High School,” said Corbett Nichter, Regional President, AP. “Throughout that time we have built a solid rapport with district stakeholders as well as Jacobs, therefore we are well-positioned to take on this type of work.”

Construction commenced in February 2018 and is currently scheduled for completion in September 2019.
