MEADVILLE, Pa. Ten years ago, Tim wrote his first poem. Every time he would look at it, he would say to himself, “You did not do this.” This went on for years. One day, he finally decided to show it to a friend. He said, “This is not bad.” Tim then decided to show the poem to his mother. When she asked for a copy, it planted a seed that transformed Tim Jamison into a poet.

“On Friday evening following Mother’s Day in 1998, while watching In Touch Ministries, it started coming to me. I wrote the one entitled, My Godly Mom. A couple of months later, I began writing consistently. Within four months, I had written over four hundred poems and as many as fifty-four in one week,” said Tim Jamison

Tim Jamison saw an image of Jesus reaching out. He thought to himself, “This is our goal in life.” Jesus was reaching out to the lost, the poor, the hurting, the ones who have lost their way, and the ones who may only need comfort or a kind word as they travel along life’s rugged path. With that in mind, he started crafting his poetry. “Reaching Out To You: Inspirational Poems” is the result.
