“We are extremely proud of Rob and his work with the CCBA,” Los Angeles Co-Managing Shareholders Jeff E. Scott and Gregory A. Fishman said in a joint statement. “Day in and out, Robert provides a model of leadership through his work ethic, integrity, and tireless commitment to his clients.”

The CCBA is dedicated to providing high-quality legal education, enhancing and promoting the sense of community among Century City attorneys, and honoring local attorneys who’ve achieved exceptional results for their clients.

Located in Century City, Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles office works closely with the CCBA on various events and initiatives. This year, Greenberg Traurig and the CCBA have co-hosted CLE seminars on “Ending Sexual Harassment and Bias” and “Battling Burnout in the Legal Profession,” with Freund serving as program host of both events.

"I'm proud of the CCBA’s mission, honored to have served as president, and proud of the work we accomplished,” said Freund, who was installed as CCBA president in March of last year, making him the association’s youngest ever president.

Freund represents companies in complex commercial litigation, including class actions involving consumer products and services and claims alleging false advertising and unfair competition. He also represents clients in the real estate, entertainment, and financial services industries. Freund has obtained favorable results in both federal and state courts and in all phases of litigation, from the pleadings stage through trial.
