Barron’s Ranks Stephan Cassaday Among Top Third of Nation’s Top 100 Financial Advisors

This is the third consecutive year Cassaday has appeared on the premier investing publication’s Top 100 list, debuting in 2016 at #63, and ranking #47 in 2017.

The 2018 Top 100 Financial Advisors ranking spotlights advisors at large brokerage firms as well as independent advisory practices. While the formula Barron’s uses to rank advisors is proprietary, there are three major components: assets managed, revenue produced, and quality of practice. Barron’s scoring system assigns a top score of 100 and rates the rest by comparing them with the top-ranked advisor. Investment returns are not a component of the rankings because an advisor's returns are dictated largely by the risk tolerance of clients. The quality-of-practice component includes an evaluation of each advisor's regulatory record.
