Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Benjamin Aguilera Awarded Presidential Award for 2018 Convention Seminar
PHOENIX (PRWEB) April 30, 2018 -- Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Benjamin Aguilera and fellow State Bar of Arizona Business Law Section members have been awarded the Presidential Award for their seminar at the upcoming 2018 State Bar of Arizona Annual Convention, June 27-29. Aguilera serves as co-chair of the section and will co-chair its program at the convention.
The award-winning seminar, “Arizona’s New LLC Act: Promoting Certainty and Protecting Freedom of Contract,” will discuss Senate Bill 1353 that was signed into law by Governor Ducey, April 10, 2018. The Presidential Award Program gives special recognition to seminars anticipated to be of superior quality at the annual convention. Seminars are judged based on their appeal to bar members, the use of diverse panelists, co-sponsorship between bar entities, and compliance with guidelines established by the convention committee. Of more than 40 seminars, only seven were chosen for this prestigious award. Recognition of this award and seminar will be published in the 2018 convention materials.
Aguilera has a background in U.S. corporate, M&A, finance, and venture capital matters. He also has experience in international transactions in Mexico, Central and South America, Spain, and Portugal in corporate, M&A, venture capital, finance, anticorruption protocols, hospitality, resorts, commercial and residential real estate, and mining matters; and has coordinated litigation, tax, intellectual property, labor, and environmental matters in Mexico and Latin America.
