ATLANTA (PRWEB) May 07, 2018
For the ninth consecutive year, SMC³ has been recognized on Inbound Logistics magazine’s list of Top 100 Logistics IT Providers.
The 2018 list, which was released in the April issue of the magazine, marks the 16th overall win for SMC³.
“When choosing the 2018 Top 100 Logistics IT Providers, Inbound Logistics editors looked at excellence in optimizing supply chain, logistics and transportation operations,” said Felecia Stratton, Inbound Logistics’ editor. “Strategically, editors make their selections based on how transformative solutions impact those business activities driving integration across internal and external business processes.”
Supply chain IT companies that support and enable logistics excellence receive annual recognition in the pages of Inbound Logistics. When compiling the list, Stratton and other editors search for innovators leading the transportation industry and helping 3PLs and shippers optimize their supply chains. This year, Inbound editors narrowed down the list after starting with 300 submissions.
SMC³ has been recognized, in part, because of its proven, analytical API solutions. RateWare XL gives customers a durable rating engine and library of more than 3,000 data modules to simplify LTL pricing, but the high-powered solution can also analyze small-package shipments. RateWare XL returns rates at a speed of 60,000 shipments per minute. CarrierConnect XL compiles real-time transit times and service detail from more than 200 leading national, super-regional and regional carriers across North America.
“SMC³ has been recognized as one of the industry’s top IT providers by Inbound Logistics for more than 15 years, and that speaks to our dependability as a top-tier technology provider, while also acknowledging our dedication to excellent customer service, “ said SMC³ CEO and President Andrew Slusher. “By providing innovative transit time, rating and costing solutions, SMC³ works to propel the industry forward, and we continue to evolve our offerings to fit the shifting needs of industry stakeholders.”
SMC³ is the leading provider of data, technology and education as an integrated solution to the freight transportation community. Best known for its CzarLite®, Bid$ense® and RateWare® solutions, the company serves more than 5,000 customers throughout North America, including shippers, carriers, logistics service providers and freight-payment companies.
