The Ascape AmpPack's truly wireless earbuds offer premium sound and in-case charging

AmpPack’s earbuds offer graphene-enhanced audio quality, and flawless connectivity and great battery life. They also charge directly from the case when not in use, making them virtually impossible to lose.

Today, Detroit-based Ascape Audio launched a Kickstarter for the Ascape AmpPack, a 3-in-1 smartphone battery case with built-in true wireless Bluetooth earbuds The compact solution is available for the early bird price of $149 ($100 off the normal $249.95 retail price).

AmpPack’s earbuds offer graphene-enhanced audio quality, and flawless connectivity and great battery life. They also charge directly from the case when not in use, making them virtually impossible to lose.

“True wireless earbuds have freed us from tangled cables, but they are very easy to lose and require constant recharging,” said Ascape Audio co-founder Paul Schrems. “True wireless earbuds increase in popularity everyday. Soon these problems will be felt by all tech consumers, and the AmpPack provides a complete solution. We deliver premium sound quality, but our customers really love that they always have their earbuds with them wherever they go. Losing and recharging have become problems of the past.”

The AmpPack’s earbuds use state-of-the-art Varta CoinPower Li-Ion batteries and Qualcomm’s new low power QC5120 Bluetooth chipset to deliver 8 hours of battery life. To provide a “never-drop” audio stream, the earbuds use the latest Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology, an Edge-Ring Antenna, and Qualcomm’s newly introduced Broadcast Audio technology (TrueWireless Stereo Plus).

Most truly wireless earbuds don’t work, offering spotty connection stability thanks to outdated Bluetooth technology. Even the big players in the industry have struggled to provide a real solution. Ascape Audio is among the first to utilize Qualcomm’s new solution, thanks to their proximity to Qualcomm’s development office in Detroit.

On top of this advanced technology, the AmpPack’s earbuds pair instantly during removal and recharge automatically when returned to Ascape’s patented case. The result is a completely fluid and seamless charging experience. To make the solution “truly wireless” Ascape equipped the case’s back surface with Qi charging, so you’ll never even need to plug it in.

The case is currently available for iPhone X, 6, 6s, 7, 8, 6+, 6s+ 7+, and 8+. The earbuds, which are also available for purchase with a universal charging dock, are compatible with any bluetooth device. They are built with a sweatproof coating and feature graphene audio drivers, which produce top-tier quality sound.

“Wireless earbuds are everywhere now. We wanted solve their biggest pain points and deliver what truly matters to consumers - sound quality and ease of use. It’s an industry secret that most truly wireless earbuds offer poor quality audio and connectivity,” said co-founder and brand director Dean Clancy. “With the AmpPack, the only thing users have to worry about is finding a good playlist.”

AmpPack is scheduled to ship in September 2018. For a full rundown, visit AmpPack’s Kickstarter page. Media wishing to interview Ascape personnel should contact Jackson Wightman at +1 (514) 605-9255.
