QuickStart Announces Acquisition of Unitek Training’s IT Training Operations
AUSTIN, Texas (PRWEB) May 15, 2018 -- QuickStart, one of the leading IT skills training providers in the US, announced the acquisition of Unitek Learning’s IT training assets. The announcement comes at the heel of the company receiving series A funding from Moneta Ventures. This was a strategic acquisition of assets that included partnership and accreditation of NetApp, Cisco, and Citrix which will enable QuickStart to substantially expand its portfolio of course catalog in those areas.
Unitek Learning provides on-site education in healthcare, nursing, emergency medical services, and information technology. They will continue to do so in all domains except for information technology, which will now be offered by QuickStart.
QuickStart also acquired Unitek’s MINT (Medical Imaging Network Technology) Program which is a proprietary course designed to train DICOM and Cloud Engineers on diagnostic machines on DICOM Standards. QuickStart plans to package the acquired course assets into its cognitive learning platform.
“The acquisition of Unitek Learning’s IT product assets made perfect sense as they come equipped with a number of powerful accredited learning partnerships with NetApp, Cisco and Citrix that are aligned with our vision of creating world class technologists,” says Ed Sattar, the CEO of QuickStart.
