Her practice covers a broad range of legal issues including trademark, copyright, social media, rights of publicity, and data privacy and protection. Klein has extensive experience structuring IP transactions, and regularly negotiates IP acquisition agreements, licenses, and other commercial arrangements implicating intellectual property rights. Klein’s work also includes managing domestic and international trademark portfolios, representing clients in proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and general counseling.

“Erica has a wealth of experience in trademark law and works with clients domestically and around the world,” said Mark Cantor, president of Brooks Kushman. “I am excited to welcome her to our team as we continue to grow our practice. Klein holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors degree with honors from Dartmouth College. She is the current Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
