Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP) began construction last month as part of Arlington Independent School District’s 2014 Bond Program, which includes the renovation of Arlington High School, Morton Elementary School and South Davis Elementary School. The scope of work includes a major renovation of all the mechanical, electrical, communication and plumbing systems.

“We look forward to partnering with the Arlington community as we complete these important projects for the district.” -Corbett Nichter, Regional President, AP

Designed by Corgan, renovations include replacing theatrical systems, public systems and video equipment. Many school rooms will be upgraded (music, computer, art, dance, science, shop) to meet the current needs of the students, and restroom fixtures, specialty fixtures and drinking fountains will be upgraded for ADA. Sitework includes new and renovated drive and fire lanes, parking, site lighting, and sidewalks.

“AP has a strong history of K-12 work in Dallas-Fort Worth similar in nature to this project,” said Corbett Nichter, Regional President, AP. “We look forward to partnering with the Arlington community as we complete these important projects for the district.”

The project is currently scheduled for completion in August 2019.
