New product, INTEGRITY, designed to provide operators with true visibility of live network state.

B.Yond today announced the general availability of INTEGRITY to accelerate the transition to virtualized network functions and cloud-enabled network platforms.

The ongoing telco transformation to virtualized infrastructure, network functions and cloud platforms, is creating the need for truly dynamic management of network assets. In order to move to a software-defined and software-controlled business, real-time data accuracy of all assets within the network is required. B.Yond is applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation to build the first Operating System for the Autonomous Network. The foundation for this is INTEGRITY, the first AI-driven asset and inventory reconciliation solution. INTEGRITY ensures the inventory system accurately represents the underlying hardware and virtual networks, providing operators true visibility of live network state. INTEGRITY is also the key enabler for transition to 5G and Edge Cloud.

Inventory discovery and reconciliation systems are rapidly becoming an essential part of the inventory tracking process. Operators face increasing OPEX and CAPEX pressures from slower provisioning lifecycles and stranded assets, with 76 percent of providers rating inventory discovery and reconciliation functions as “critical or very important” in a late 2016 European Communications survey.

To decrease these pressures on operators and offer them the systems they need, INTEGRITY is the only container-based, cloud-native, cloud-agnostic, automated inventory reconciliation solution to accurately increase network utilization, decrease provisioning time, increase automation level, and decrease mean time resolution. INTEGRITY gives operators real-time visibility into their available network resources, ensuring that they are able to scale appropriately, launch services instantaneously, and remain available to their customers anytime, from anywhere.

“As organizations implement true network virtualization and ready themselves for 5G, systems must be able to effortlessly adapt to new source data without costly, manual updates,” said Ned Taleb, CEO at B.Yond. “With INTEGRITY, operators have the ability to recover stranded assets and redeploy them to improve revenue generation.”

INTEGRITY deploys a micro-service architecture running in containers to deliver performance and reliability in operational environments. INTEGRITY audits live network data against an existing inventory system, applying a set of business rules to identify discrepancies between the two datasets, and reconciling those discrepancies by writing them back to an inventory system through its native API.

INTEGRITY’s key features include:

  • Network data integrity for OSS systems
  • Real time APIs for next generation networks
  • Vendor-neutral, AI-based data collection and organization
  • Big data and micro-services cloud architecture

About B.Yond
B.Yond is an artificial intelligence company that is building the operating system for autonomous network operations. The operating system that allows network operators to monetize the move to add edge clouds, control their costs in a virtualized network model prepare for new services under 5G. Operators are at an inflection point, needing to transform from purely a network provider to a cloud platform. Focusing on faster data rates and lower latency is not enough. To truly capitalize and generate new revenue streams, they need their networks to operate autonomously; predict intelligently; and launch on-demand services cost effectively. There is only one way that all this can be achieved – through artificial intelligence-based automation software. This is what B.Yond does. B.Yond is also a founding member of the Linux Foundation Deep Learning Foundation, the Acumos foundation, and other technical and open source groups to promote innovation in artificial intelligence and machine learning as applied to the Infinite Network.
