The Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts at the Osher Marin JCC proudly announces the line up for their 26th annual Summer season of family-friendly outdoor concerts.

SUMMER NIGHTS 2018:
Sat 7/7 - Afro-Cuban: Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca
Afro-Cuban rhythms with pan-African styles. Lemvo's strong joyous vocals lead songs that celebrate life, and most importantly, inspiring his audiences to let loose and dance away their worries.
The portable dance floor will be on the turf and a pre-concert Salsa Class gets the evening started.

Sat 7/14 - Hawaiian Night: Henry Kapono with special guest Johnny Valentine
With original songs with a rock vibe, Kapono expresses pride in his Hawaiian culture, celebrates his love for his family and the Islands through his music. Johnny Valentine, Bruno Mars’ uncle, who is known as Hawaii’s most versatile singer, joins him. Pre-Concert Hula performance.

Sat 7/21 - Jazzy Soul Jive: Royal Jelly Jive
Combining elements of Soul, Rock, Swing, and Hip-Hop they’ll shake up a dance party and groove harder than your typical rock n’ roll bands dare to go. An old-school throwback vibe and yet entirely fresh and new at the same time.

Sat 7/28 - American Folk Pop: Kuinka
Described by NPR Music as joyous folk-pop, Kuinka “laces modern folk and Americana with an electronic jolt, waltzing along the grooved edges of dream-pop, synth-pop, and Brooklyn’s mid-aughts guitar-rock revival.
Local Rainbow Girls open with their folk with sprinkles of soul and rock n roll and join in the Kuinka fun.

Sat 8/4 - Latin Big Band: Pacific Mambo Orchestra
This 19-piece Latin Big Band orchestra plays salsa, Latin Jazz, cha cha cha, bachata, and more.
The portable dance floor will be on the turf and the pre-concert Salsa Class gets the evening going.
