Dr. Quyyumi is a graduated of the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. She interned in Internal Medicine at the University of Southern California. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine from Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital New York, New York and her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology from Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, New York.
Dr. Quyyumi has research experience from Columbia University Medical Center in New York, New York , the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta, Georgia and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has completed a numerous amount of presentation, abstracts, and publications. Her publications include: Factors Associated with Multidisciplinary Consultations in Patients with Early Stage Breast Cancer, Factors Associated with Follow up Medical Care Among Women with Early Stage Breast Cancer, and The Yellow Fever Virus Vaccine Induces a Broad and Polyfunctional Human Memory CD8+ T Cell Response.
Dr. Quyyumi is fluent in conversational Spanish and basic Hindi/Urdu.
