Team Fleisher Communications Receives Prestigious 2018 PRism Awards
(PRWEB) May 21, 2018 -- Team Fleisher Communications is pleased to announce recognition by the Central Ohio chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) as this year’s winner of three prestigious PRism awards. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Team Fleisher has won multiple awards for exceptional public relations (PR) activities. Team Fleisher was honored in three categories on behalf of three clients. These included:
• Interactive Digital PR: New Website—Eastway Behavioral Healthcare, Client
• Multi-faceted Campaign/Community Relations, IGS Energy, Client
• Multi-faceted Campaign/Crisis Communications, Kitrick, Lewis & Harris, Client
In addition, Team Fleisher received four coveted Diamond Awards from the East Central District (ECD) of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) announced earlier this year. The annual Diamond Awards are prized by public relations firms across the region and recognize excellence in public relations (PR) and marketing campaigns. The ECD District represents 17 PRSA chapters concentrated in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Western and Northwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Kentucky. Team Fleisher was honored in the following categories on behalf of multiple clients. These included:
• Brand Management: Choice Recovery, Client
• Brand Management: Eastway Behavioral Healthcare, Client
• Special Event: Batten Disease Support and Research Association, Client
• Community Relations: Heritage of Hannah Neil, Client

In 2018, Eastway Behavioral Healthcare was celebrating its 60th year of service. Team Fleisher recognized that this significant milestone presented an opportunity to celebrate the organization’s journey, while reaffirming the important role the Dayton, Ohio community played in its past, present and future. In conjunction with the events surrounding Eastway’s 60th year, Team Fleisher created and launched a new website for Eastway. The site is consistent with the refreshed branding Team Fleisher has implemented for its client and is vibrant, engaging, easy to navigate and best of class.
Last winter, IGS Energy partnered with Team Fleisher to promote its involvement in Operation Warm’s Bundle Up campaign in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. IGS has been participating in the program since 2014. For every customer that “bundles” IGS’ products, the company makes a donation to Operation Warm, a national nonprofit organization that supports children in need by providing new winter coats. Team Fleisher secured impactful earned media in each market, which helped IGS exceed its goal, the donation of 10,000 coats.
And in July 2018, Team Fleisher executed a crisis communication plan for Kitrick, Lewis & Harris, a Columbus-based personal injury law firm. The attorney’s were retained to represent the family of a young many who died when a ride at The Ohio State Fair malfunctioned. The attorney’s sought to secure as much earned media coverage as possible as a key part of its preparation for likely litigation. Team Fleisher secured multiple placements both locally and nationally in order to exceed the law firm's expectations.
Team Fleisher, along with other award recipients, was recognized at the 2018 PRism Awards dinner held in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday, May 17.
