Veritas Total Solutions Hires Steve Kleege
HOUSTON (PRWEB) May 31, 2018 -- Veritas Total Solutions hires Steve Kleege as a Director, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to growth and industry expertise. Veritas has added several new clients, creating the need for additional senior leadership. Steve will be providing advisory services on risk management issues to the energy sector.
Steve has more than 20 years of industry and advisory experience in the commodities sector, focused primarily on risk management. As an industry advisor, he has developed solutions for front, middle and back office functions, in areas such as risk management strategy, market risk, operational risk, credit risk, finance/accounting processes, as well as for corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Steve also brings very broad industry experience to his role based on extensive commercial experience as a trader in the physical and financial commodities markets, as well as experience leading control functions in commodities trading organizations.
Before joining Veritas, Steve was Head of Operational Risk and Compliance at EDF Trading North America. Steve also led Valuation Control and Analytics for Citigroup’s North American Commodities business. Prior to these industry roles, Steve provided risk management advisory services to the commodities industry while at Deloitte & Touche and PwC. In addition to his risk management roles, Steve has an extensive energy trading background, having held senior trading roles at Shell Energy Trading, Constellation Energy, Enron North America, and Xcel Energy. Steve started his career as a financial analyst in Bank of America’s energy banking organization.

Steve earned a BA in Economics and Financial Markets from Hartwick College and an MBA in Finance from Cornell University.
