The ComplianceMate systems creates and documents data which is then used to prevent food safety outbreaks or quality issues,” explains Mr. Woodbury.

After a successful 2017 NRA show, ComplianceMate returns to the 2018 NRA Show in Chicago to showcase new products, including the eHACCP industry’s first LoRa-enabled temperature sensor. LoRa is a communication protocol that works better than Bluetooth in commercial kitchen environments.

The new ComplianceMate sensors won the Internet of Things (IOT)/Wearable Technologies (WT) Innovation World Cup® 2017/18 in the Retail category earlier this year.

“We are dedicated to investing in technology built to evolve into the future,” says Tom Woodbury, Vice President of National Accounts at CM Systems.

The new temperature sensors surmount environmental challenges that stymie Bluetooth and WIFI devices in commercial kitchens, such as transmitting through stainless steel, insulated cold-holding units, and concrete structures. A powerful 900MHz radio that adheres to the LoRaWAN specification is the most effective device to date to meet the many obstacles encountered in a commercial facility.

These wireless temperature sensors join the rest of the ComplianceMate smart kitchens system: a tablet device, Bluetooth hand probe(s), and proprietary management software to document temperatures and complete custom checklists. The whole system works wirelessly while providing alerts, reports, and analysis to all levels of management, from store level to owners and corporate.

“The ComplianceMate systems creates and documents data which is then used to prevent food safety outbreaks or quality issues,” explains Mr. Woodbury.

ComplianceMate food safety solutions are already working at thousands of restaurant locations across the US, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East with a rapidly growing install base.

Attendees of the 2018 NRA show can schedule a 15-minute private, hands-on demo. There, they can interact with a ComplianceMate tablet and smart temperature monitoring equipment.

For a first-hand demo, schedule 15 minutes with ComplianceMate or visit Booth #9442 any time during show hours from May 19-22. Visit http://www.compliancemate.com for more information.
