China’s elite continue to find U.S. real estate an attractive, long-term investment
SARATOGA, Calif. (PRWEB) May 21, 2018
Alain Pinel Realtors (APR) will send a delegation of 12 Realtors to China to attend LPS Beijing 2018, the 17th annual Luxury Property Showcase which runs from June 22-24. In addition to attending LPS, the group has meetings scheduled with Chinese citizens considering purchasing homes in the U.S., as well as Chinese real estate brokerages and relocation experts. The delegation will be led by Michi Olson, APR’s vice president of global relocation and business development.
“China’s elite continue to find U.S. real estate an attractive, long-term investment,” said Olson. “Foreign buyers nearly doubled their investments in U.S. residential real estate last year compared to the year prior. As a result, APR continues to expand its global partnerships to aid these high net-worth buyers in finding ideal properties in Northern California, making our attendance at LPS and meeting face-to-face with prospective buyers and their agents essential.”
Olson, who will be presenting at LPS as well, said she uses the twice-yearly event to showcase the Bay Area real estate market as well as to facilitate one-on-one meetings with Chinese real estate brokerages and relocation companies looking for opportunities in the U.S. She and her team will spend two weeks in China attending these meetings.
“There are companies that represent a range of potential Chinese buyers that see us at LPS every year exhibiting and speaking. They know we offer a great deal of U.S. market expertise and leadership. They also know we take the time to meet directly with Chinese buyers every year so we have a first-hand understanding of their priorities and concerns,” said Olson.
In Beijing, APR will mark its 10th year of attending LPS as one of the first California brokerages to exhibit at the luxury showcase. LPS hosts events twice a year, in Beijing in June and Shanghai in December.
