ClearStar, Inc., the technology and service provider to the background screening industry, is pleased to announce that its new marketing campaign, “We Work”, has earned two Gold Hermes Creative Awards in the category “Electronic/Social/Interactive Media” for its lead video and newly-rebranded website.
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media. The Company’s campaign was selected out of over 200,000 entries that were judged in more than 100 countries by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, a global organization consisting of several thousand creative professionals.
ClearStar’s “We Work” campaign was designed to disrupt the industry and deliver its vision and value in a clear and engaging way. The first phase of the campaign, released in late 2017, established ClearStar’s brand with a video that made a simple, powerful statement: ClearStar works. The decision to focus on the word “work” springs from the Company’s desire to highlight the goal of background screening: getting the right people to work quickly to keep business moving.
This year the Company has launched phase two of the campaign, which uses historical figures to present, in a humorous manner, what might have happened if an ineffective background screening process had prevented important events from happening. Each video asks the question: Is your background screening stuck in the past?
