Thompson Creek Window Company, a family-owned window and home improvement products manufacturing and installation company serving Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, has been named one of the Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces in the private-company sector for 2018 in the publication’s third annual ranking of the best places to work.

The 2018 Inc. Best Workplaces Awards assessed applicants on the basis of benefits and perks offered, and employees’ responses to a survey that was developed in partnership with employee engagement and work culture firm Quantum Workplace of Omaha, NE.

Rick Wuest, CEO of Thompson Creek, said, “It’s an honor to be recognized as a great workplace. But, it’s also been an incredible opportunity for us to learn what our employees are really thinking and how we can make this company an even better place for all of our employees. Our customers also benefit because happy and engaged employees mean better products, better installations and better customer service.”

Thompson Creek has built a modern work environment with many amenities where every employee can begin their career with an entry-level position and have many opportunities to grow their skills to move upward within the organization. Wuest added, “We provide excellent compensation and benefits packages, we find that our employees cherish the opportunities to have fun together and to celebrate our achievements. We’ve built a culture around competition, fun, family and success, and we’re always looking for like-minded individuals.”

James Ledbetter, Inc. Magazine editor-in-chief, said, “Companies that don’t score at the very top of their peer group don’t make the cut. So, our hats are off to the winners. They all excelled at engaging their workers, making them feel appreciated, and aligning them behind a mission.”

Wuest said, “As a growing company, we are always seeking highly motivated and talented employees to be part of our team.” Apply to build a career with Thompson Creek Window Company.
