Interjet Airlines announced today it had flown more than 142 thousand passengers between Los Angeles International Airport and Cancun International Airport, located in Quintana Roo, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. It is Mexico's second busiest airport, after Mexico City International Airport.

Interjet operates Airbus A320 aircraft seating 150 passengers between Los Angeles and Cancun. Round trip fares start at $190.00 taxes included with special promotional fares offered periodically throughout the year. These promotional fares are not available to groups nor can they be used with other promotional fares.
