Interjet Celebrates Two Years of Service Between Los Angeles and Cancun

Los Angeles and Cancun have become major hubs for Interjet with over 142 thousand passengers transported between the two destinations in just 24 months.

“Los Angeles and Cancun have become significant business and leisure travel markets for Interjet,” said Julio Gamero, Interjet’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Interjet Airlines announced today it had flown more than 142 thousand passengers between Los Angeles International Airport and Cancun International Airport, located in Quintana Roo, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. It is Mexico's second busiest airport, after Mexico City International Airport.

“Los Angeles and Cancun have become significant business and leisure travel markets for Interjet,” said Julio Gamero, Interjet’s Chief Commercial Officer. “We’re delighted to be able to offer business and leisure travelers everywhere we fly, our unique brand of lower prices with free checked bags on select fares, more legroom between seats and great service embraced everywhere we fly,” he added.

Interjet operates Airbus A320 aircraft seating 150 passengers between Los Angeles and Cancun. Round trip fares start at $190.00 taxes included with special promotional fares offered periodically throughout the year. These promotional fares are not available to groups nor can they be used with other promotional fares.
