Smith, a global distributor of electronic components and semiconductors, announces its certification to the TAPA FSR Level A standard. This certification recognizes Smith’s facilities for the proper storage and handling of HVTT (high-value theft targeted) assets, such as electronics.

The FSR Level A certification is TAPA’s highest achievement of security measures pertaining to the handling, warehousing, and shipping of product. Security professionals within the high-tech industry have instituted stringent Facility Security Requirements (FSR) that define the minimum acceptable standards for supply chain security throughout the industry.
