USA Veteran-Owned Company “Freedom Hard” Coordinates with UK Veteran-Focused Movement “Veterans United Against Suicide” to Bring Awareness to Veteran Suicide Prevention
HOUSTON (PRWEB) May 26, 2018 -- While there are a large number and variety of dedicated programs and organizations supporting Veteran Suicide Prevention, there is currently no organized world-wide effort to bring to light and more importantly, address the prevention of deaths of military veterans by suicide.
Freedom Hard announces that Chris White (Founder) will lead the way from the USA by partnering with military veterans in the UK in the first-ever “Veterans United Against Suicide” Yomp in London. Jeff Williams and Simon Maryan are leading the way in the UK. Veterans and Patriots the world over are invited to participate.
The creation of the movement “Veterans United Against Suicide” was a concerted effort of veterans spanning the USA and UK who came together and built the platform using social media. It was created first and foremost to provide a platform for veterans across the world to connect, share their stories, and create the camaraderie that is so often removed once the military personnel leave their military service.
Details about the June 2, 2018 Yomp:
• Start and End Location: Victory Services Club, Seymour St, London
• Timings: Meet 08:00 – 10:00 at Victory Services Club
• Dress: Ideally with a regiment/unit T-shirt, flag and a daysack to fly your flag from. Beret is optional and welcome.
• Depart on route: 10:00
• Route: Has 3 stops for refreshments, plenty of historic sights, approximately 7 miles in total, full details on the day for security
• Family/kids and friends encouraged and welcome – the more the merrier.
• Yomp ends when everyone returns to the Victory Services Club, no rush.
• Everyone is free to do all or part of the Yomp as they want/are able.
