Members have the opportunity to enroll in Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance. Active members of IBEW Local 136 are guaranteed approved without having to fill out medical questionnaires or take a physical; members currently in poor health or with previous health issues cannot be declined coverage.
During the open enrollment, members receive information through mail, emails, texts, and Facebook & website announcements. Cornerstone makes enrollment easy for members by providing options to enroll over the phone, through the mail, or online. “Member education of these voluntary benefit plans is a big priority at Cornerstone.
