The suffering is very real for Christians in today’s world.

Pastor M El Masih studied Islam and the Qur’an for years in his birthplace of Pakistan, before committing his life to Jesus and Christianity.

In “From Persecution to the Promised Land,” Masih shares his story of overcoming persecution and the challenges he faced, committing to his belief in Jesus and spreading Christianity throughout Pakistan and other countries.

“I wrote this book to convey not only my story, but that of the Persecuted Church and all of the Christians who have been persecuted for their beliefs,” Masih said. “The world needs to know that Christians are still being persecuted in the 21st century.”

Despite all of the challenges, Masih was able to start over 300 churches in Pakistan, 103 churches in India, 35 church-run Bible schools in Sri Lanka, and more in South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. Now a Colorado resident, Masih has traveled to 46 states in the U.S. and spoken at over 1,000 churches, religious programs and events.

“The suffering is very real for Christians in today’s world,” Masih said. “Eternal life with our Lord and Savior does not rid us of the trials and tribulations in this worldly life, but the promise is worth the pain and suffering. Once I placed my trust in God, my life was completely changed.”
