ITC Millwork to Provide Trim and Door Package For The “Patriot House” a Charitable Custom Home Build in North Carolina
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PRWEB) May 28, 2018 -- ITC Millwork the Carolina’s leading millwork manufacturer and distributor announces its support of the “Patriot House,” a charitable custom home project led by Huntley Design Build, Inc. based in Pinehurst, N.C. Once complete, the newly constructed home will be sold to the public with 100% of the proceeds of the sale donated to The Patriot Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports families of servicemen and women killed and injured in the Global War on Terrorism.
ITC Millwork supplied the interior trim finishes for the “Patriot House” including Masonite® doors & Koetter® interior trim selections. Located in Ballybunion Park, a new home community directly at the Jack Nicklaus Pinehurst Golf Resort, this 3,200 square-foot cottage home will overlook the 14th hole of the famed No. 9 course. Valued at approximately $700,000, its purchase will include a Pinehurst Country Club Full No. 7 and No. 9 golf membership, which allows access to nine courses and all other amenities the world-renowned resort offers. The first year’s dues also have been waived.
According to Will Huntley, President of Huntley Design Build, Inc., specifications for the Ballybunion Park community include ITC Millwork supplied trim and doors as standard. “We have found their knowledge, personnel, product offering, and attention to detail to be among the best in the industry,” said Huntley.
PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT A CHILD’S FUTURE
The Patriot Foundation, beneficiary of the Patriot House project, provides scholarship funding for children of killed, wounded or injured soldiers from Fort Bragg, N.C., Fort Campbell, Ky., and Fort Carson, Colo. It also provides some childcare funding for the families of fallen and disabled soldiers whose surviving spouses need to obtain additional job training and development. Since it was established in 2003, the all-volunteer foundation has raised $4.5 million, including the distribution of more than 1,400 college scholarships.
This unique Patriot House fundraising project will help the organization provide some 100 more scholarships to military families in need, according to Patriot Foundation President and Chairman Chuck Deleot.
