Exclusive Platform Launch for Jewelers, Designers May 31

We strive to create a fair and transparent marketplace that mutually benefits both consumers and vendors, and that is easy to use with no hidden fees.

Today, Markette Six announces the launch of a secure marketplace to buy and sell authenticated fine jewelry, watches, and gemstones. With an introduction to consumer audiences slated for mid-summer, Markette Six is presenting an advance launch to retailers and jewelry designers who will utilize the site’s robust and intuitive listing tools. With this launch, users can begin setting up their accounts and listing their pieces for sale. Markette Six’s curated, global online marketplace will be a destination for high quality new and pre-owned pieces, making it effortless for designers, jewelers, and jewelry collectors to sell beloved treasures at a fair market price, with no listing fees.

Driven by the founders’ passion for travel and finding unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, Markette Six upholds the highest standards of design integrity, originality, and creativity. The combination of high-touch seller services and trustworthy authentication by licensed gemologists, results in a unique model that dramatically improves both the buying and selling process. The platform can serve as a primary or secondary storefront for online sales by jewelers and designers, making it an ideal service to introduce products to new audiences or sell overstocked inventory. In addition, Markette Six operates in over 20 countries, so sellers can expand customer reach instantaneously upon listing. The website allows for segmentation across countries, giving sellers the ability to easily select target international markets.

“We’re introducing a simple and trustworthy solution to those looking to sell and buy fine jewelry,” said Justin Knapp, Co-Founder of Markette Six. “We strive to create a fair and transparent marketplace that mutually benefits both buyers and sellers, and that is easy to use with no hidden fees.”

The platform will also introduce intuitive, credible authentication processes and fraud-deterrent features for all users. Each item is examined by a Markette Six independent graduate gemologist partner. Returned pieces will be re-authenticated to ensure original integrity so that purchasers and sellers feel confident and at ease while buying and selling unique luxury items.

“We partner with Markette Six on evaluation and appraisal of fine jewelry and gemstones,” said master appraiser gemologist Mona Miller, GG / FGA / GASA / ICGA, Pacific Gem Lab. “Markette Six’s commitment to accurately represent the inventory they list assures safe and fair transactions where both buyer and seller can feel comfortable and satisfied."

Listing an item is always free on Markette Six, and sellers can choose whether to self-list or consign and manage listings via mobile device, tablet, or computer. There is no penalty for removing a listing from the site, and validated businesses will earn an industry-competitive 85% of final sales price for each self-listed item sold. Items sold through the marketplace are packaged in a microfiber bag and high-quality display box, and shipping to the buyer is paid by Markette Six.

The fully-featured Markette Six website will debut to buyers and sellers mid July 2018. To learn more about Markette Six and sign up for the latest launch updates, visit
