Students Taking Apex Learning Advanced Placement Courses Again Outpace National AP Exam Average

Exam Scores Demonstrate Effectiveness of Apex Learning Digital Curriculum

Apex Learning, a recognized pioneer and innovator in online learning for secondary education, continues to outpace national scores on the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) exams. During the 2016–2017 school year, 65 percent of students taking Apex Learning AP courses scored a 3 or higher on the College Board exams, five percentage points higher than the national average of 60 percent for the same exams.

Apex Learning offers 13 College Board authorized online AP courses designed to support students and teachers working in both blended and virtual learning environments. The courses include Biology, Calculus AB, Chemistry, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Environmental Science, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Psychology, Spanish Language, Statistics, U.S. History, U.S. Government and Politics.
