More than 350 nominees competed in the 2018 Health Value Awards to showcase improvement in health outcomes, reduced costs and the implementation innovative health industry practices. The Health Value Awards Ceremony honored 47 finalists and 11 top Diamond winners in 11 categories. A Problem Persists

According to the 2013 report “The Anatomy of Health Care in the United States” in the Journal of The American Medical Association, since 2000, price and NOT demand for services or aging of the population, has produced 91% of the cost increases in the US healthcare system today. And in the 2015 report "The Burden of Medical Debt: Results from the Kaiser Family Foundation/New York Times Medical Bills Survey," from the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, it’s reported that 92 percent of insured Americans report medical bills cause a major (44%) or minor (47%) impact on their families.
